Hello! I followed you over here from LJ. I just wanted to say I just got one of those pro-lite pads you say such good things about. I got the adjustable front riser one. I ordered it from Advanced Saddle Fit. There was even a picture of you and Cleo on the literature they sent with it! I haven't gotten to ride with it yet, but I hope my horse likes it. He's coming back from a pasture accident injury. We've always had issues with saddle fit with him, so I hope this helps. :)
I don't see why not. They do not have billet straps, so I'd question the stability of too many pads piled on top of each other. ProLite makes a saddle fitter's pad, with pockets and shims everywhere, that I just LOVE LOVE LOVE. More useful than the ThinLine pad, as it can be used to add thickness to fill in parts of the horse where muscle lacks.

Yay! I was just thinking of writing an entry about my love affair with the ProLite pad. You must be reading my mind... :) Hope the pad works for you!
ReplyDeleteLauren, can I use the ProLite pad under a ThinLine Saddle Fitters Half Pad?
